the light dims
clouds cover
what little light can penetrate the trees
glimmers and reflects on lawn chairs
clouds retreat
a beam of light enters
like a tiny spot light
streaks of light pour into my paper
a highlight glares from the window
temporarily blinding all
clouds again diffuse
small beams dance through
the leaves scatter
across the ground
The sun bleaches out all
small pockets of shade
are found behind blades
of dune grass
all is white
slowly shade of gray creep up
waves of clouds diffuse the whiteness
different bands of shade take over
some wide some thin some wavy some straight
randomly burst of sunlight emerge
like a wrinkled striped sweater
across the sky
the grass now throws
massive shadows like that of wheat stalks
small shells give off small
circular dark spots on the sand
the waves of light continue

Bumping brown lines and drinkin warm bud light
Our process towards producing sound effects started out a little bumpy but after a bit of convincing by jordan we got a camera. Ive learning getting four people to correspond via email is not as easy as it seems. Im not good at the whole email thing but im learning. Anyway once we got the ball moving it all came together very well. This maybe have been the most fun ive had destroying shit at someone else's house besides a fateful night in the fall of 04'. Police, court system not fun. This involved no court appearances and actually was for a grade. I was actually behind the camera a good amount i loved learning how to use the panasonic and the shot gun mic being a novice film maker it was very exciting. For most of my films i would steal sound FX from online libraries but creating them yourself is much more satisfying. Its unbelievable to think about the time these sound technicians go thought to produce a single sound. If we were all wearing clown outfits and crying i would have probably looked like some strange performance instillation art piece. Smashing glass and plunging axes in to cantaloupes and sniffing pepper. (the upscale middle aged woman whispers to her husband " I really like their interpretation of crisis in a Iraq.") All in all in was a fun process and it turned out very well. I think im gunna give up stealing from sounddogs.com and delve into the world of sound FXing.
