despite my convictions i will write more than 3 words.. but im not happy about it. As director ive been researching all over the globe. scouting every corner of the universe for talent. now when i say this i mean ive been calling all my friends and friends of friends who make music. I called a few friends who Dj and mess around with more experimental type music. I knew a few friends at home would just took a bus trip across the country who make some indie folk music. I had actually been friends with the guitarist most of my life and never really knew how into playing music he was until this summer. I called him up and he told me his myspace (myspcae.com/midnightponcho) site and that was the first time i had ever listened to his music in my life. I was blown away at how good it was. He sometimes mentioned that he was recording music and getting vocals over the internet from a friend he went to school with freshman year, but other then the few mentions of that i hadn't really known too much of what it was like. i do have a different taste for music but im hoping the rest of the team will be on board for this band. I will be open to other suggestions but i am very excited that we already have a lead. Im 100% positive we will have permission and i have all the song on my computer in full quality already. As for concepts i have been doing a little testing on my own with digital video. im not sure how great my ideas will translate onto film but i guess thats a risk im gunna have to take, because there no way to practice without wasting a lot of time and money. ill leave you with some hints towards my concept.
